After that horrendous loss, we now face the best team in the west at home. I expect this game to be at least highly competitive and come down to the wire. Zion personally- out of shape or not, I expect him to be more aggressive offensively and show some sort of activity on defense. My gut tells me they win tonight but let’s see.

I expect us to come out and dominate. They should all be fricked off with how the semi final went and have something to prove

They’ve had plenty of rest… they should be coming out at 100mph and smashing these pretenders.

I expect the Pels to play hard. The game will be competitive and tense until the end.

I expect this guy to show up like he did last season.

Shitty rotations and ATOs. Typical game day

Man just watching those highlights I feel like I’m watching a different player. How quick he moves with the ball, that burst, everything is done in lightning speed. I don’t know- who knows if this is true but I still feel like he has lingering issues from that hamstring injury last year. Granted the extra weight doesn’t help either.

This is probably the best way to go to avoid disappointment.

Man even his demeanor, confidence and swag. That guy in those highlights if Bron just stood there in the paint like the last game, would have dunked on his arse.

Unfortunately he just won’t be the same player unless he loses 20+ pounds. Good thing for us he is still a 25-5-5 player just on strength alone and players around him this year, only if he becomes more aggressive with more shot attempts. 6/8 does not need to happen with him. Especially at his usual efficiency he needs minimum 15 shots a game, and that has to do with him being more aggressive and taking his shots.

Out of shape or not the past few games I don’t understand the lack of aggression with him. Even out of shape, he has shown he can be a 20 point scorer. It’ll be really interesting to watch tonight, if he has another under 20 point game and lacks offensive aggression- makes me wonder if he’s hiding some injury.

i honestly have no idea what Zion will do.

I think the rest of them are going to come out pissed and ready to play.

I think tonight is going to say a lot about a lot of the players on this team. If Zion takes a back seat again and is his normal lazy self, it's going to get worst for him, and i think his teammates are going to start getting more visually frustrated on the court with him. WHat i hope to see is they band together through the adversity they've experienced the last few days and they all play hard and together and come out with a victory.

If something like Lebron boxing effortless Zion out happens, and then Zion does something shitty and lazy on offense right after, i think you're going to start hearing some boos from the crowd.

Joking aside - I’m choosing to hope what we saw on vegas was a hungover, poorly rested Zion and we’ll see a more assertive and aggressive Zion tonight.

But man we talk about the one injury away from a real problem with Zion and we are right on that line again. If he has to sit now with a foot or knee or hamstring for any period of time longer than a week he will spiral.

I guess Vegas feels the same way as the majority of this board. I, for one, was pleasantly shocked to see the Pels at -2.5 for tonight. Didn't see that coming against the 17-4 Western #1 seed.

Seein' Pels -4...Vegas knows what Zion has eaten over the past 3 days. (or...NOT eaten)
