Really enjoyed it. Cranston was really solid in it like he usually is. It can be slow sometimes but it’s definitely worth a watch

Just watched S1, good series, only 2 seasons, but really good.
No sympathetic characters, or rather several sort of sympathetic characters.

Also good NOLA scene watching.

ETA: When I commented, I had just finished Season 1, which was compelling, Since then I have watched S2, and it sucks balls.

Preachy dog shite writing.

Glacial slow after first couple episodes.

Lots of scenes that should have been on cutting room floor.

Persisted through end of S1 for the "ironic" ending.

1/10 stars. Would not recommend.

For perspective ... some shows that are 100x better:

1. Breaking Bad
2. Fargo (Season 2,5,1,3 ... in that order)
3. Justified
4. Boardwalk Empire
5. The Wire
6. Turn

Agreed, it starts fast, then grinds, and I may get through S2E3 2 by the time I'm done with Bar Rescue re-runs. There's an odd schism between how they show NO black culture and Italian. Everyone already has context on the first, but it doesn't ever really get explained why the Italians would have so much control of the port/coastline infrastructure. It's just loose and inconsistent in context, which spoils it. There is a certain fascination with, "one of my friends threw up on that corner!" but it wears thin quickly.

I tried watching it twice. Couldn't make it through the first episode either time.

And fwiw I'm a big Bryan Cranston fan.

S1 was ok. Slow starting just like Breaking Bad.
S2 horrible writing and none of it made much sense in that the connections were too forced. I hated S2.

I thought the first season was good, nothing ground breaking. Could not make it past a couple episodes in S2, completely different show.

The only reason anyone has ever heard of it is because Bryan Cranston is in it. If it wasn't for him it wouldn't have seen the light of day.

Kinda insteresting first few episodes that makes you sorta wonder what's gonna happen but then just falters. Crappy storytelling, crappy actors, dumb characters, nearly all of the cast unlikeable as hell, etc.

As long as court room antics that aren't close to reality don't bother then you should be fine. I stopped watching the first episode when the judge somehow became the defense attorney.

IT was okay, nothing really special or stands out with it.

Well produced, directed and acted melodramatic noise. They will force any new plot point to create tension and drama regardless of how organic or realistic it is. It's not a bad show by any means; it's probably good if melodrama doesn't bother you. Personally I don't like it, so I tapped out after a couple of episodes.

Season 1 was interesting, season 2 was a chore.

More preachy Hollyweird pro-female, Boss Babe shite. Every woman comes out smelling like a rose and every man takes it on the chin.
