Tour Champ. Who’s your pick?

Hard to not pick Scottie with the year he had but for some reason he has done horrible in the last tournament of the year. My pick and it’s a hometown pick is Burns. Who y’all got?

Xander is excellent at East Lake and has an excellent chance to win the FedEx Cup then the PGA Tour will modify the playoffs again.

I think it’s Scheffler’s to lose, but if he does I believe that Schauffele will be there to scoop it up…

Keegan is gonna ride the hot hand.

Didnt they already announce they were doing that?
X will be hard to beat this week.
Will that make him POTY?
What about ROTY? Aberg or Dunlap?

Xander. Has been very consistent of late. I don’t think too much can be used from previous tournaments there given the work they’ve done on it.

Will probably be Xander, because I bet on Scottie

Is that going to matter this year with the new renovations? He's my pick with Ludvig as the darkhorse.

he's only played in it 4 times.
2023: didn't play well
2022: finished T2 1 shot back of Rory
2021: in terms of total strokes, he finished middle of the pack in the field, but he started the tournament in the -1 group
2020: Finished 5th overall, 2nd in total strokes
He's only played horribly one time out of 4 times he played the event.
With the massive renovation/restoration, it's also a completely different setup than it has been in the past, so hard to use prior performances as a barometer for anyone.

Keegan or anyone on Team Srixon.

I know it’s only the first day but Scottie is looking like the pick.

Scottie is so good with his wedges.

Shoots low round of the day.
He’s just that good.

Is it too early to say everyone else is playing for 2nd?

54 holes is a lot of golf.
I guess anything could happen, but I wonder what odds you could get for the field versus Scottie at midnight tonight?

That would be interesting to see

So much for this redesign making this course difficult. Only one round over par today and 21/30 shooting in the 60s

It’s the 30 best players on the PGA tour.
I did not think they’d shoot a bunch of 75s.
