On Netflix, wife and I just finished, cant believe there isn't a thread on this.
Good cast, fun show. Netflix

I couldn’t make it through the first 15 minutes. Should I try again?

Was waiting for a spoiler thread because I have thoughts
Thought it started way better than it ended. Also the Protagonist was meh.
The 69 % on RT all audience score was warranted. I do think its a solid binge watch with the wife

I really liked it. Nicole Kidman was great!

Agreed. But I still liked it a lot.
Also thought the older brother (Thomas) was a great character. Dude chewed up every scene he was in.

Agree with all of this. It was fine. Better than the last few Harlan Cobrn show in had to sit through.
I will say that I absolutely did not nail the guilty culprit.

Started it tonight. Wife just read the book and said first two episodes were vastly different than the book. Acting from some of the supporting cast is meh, but I’m intrigued enough to watch all 6 episodes.

Acting was fine.
To be honest even if you know about the murderee by the second episode, the motivation from the murderer really doesn’t hit you till the finale.
I’m usually good at figuring these things out and I literally had no idea till the final reveal.
I came away “damn, absolutely did not see that happening and it was nowhere on my radar but that makes complete sense.”

Wife and I both loved it. Really good!

Same. It was such an obvious motive after a couple of the other pieces fell into place but I still didn't think of it. Really worked well.

We watched it last night. Those pieces you are talking about dont get told until the end so it's hard to know the motive until then. They did a good job of leading you along to believe it could be any of 5 or 6 killers.
I did however feel a little bored once it was revealed. I was expecting a late twist to knock me over and it just didnt happen.
And Eve Hewson is not bad to look at when she is fixed up.

He has been great in everything I’ve seen him in. Very underrated. Completely different character when I first saw him in Sing Street but nailed them both.

it's a fun series, nicole kidman looks horrible, way too much plastic surgery

She’s Bono’s daughter.
I heard that but dont know a lot about her. Just making a physical observation.

She was always a top 5 for me. Just loved her look. Unfortunately, that time has passed.
Time and stupid surgeries have ruined her.

The wife and I enjoyed this one for sure. I definitely liked how they focused the story on a different suspect's perspective through each episode, sort of making the audience's assumptions pivot alongside law enforcement's.

I literally came to this board to start a thread on this show and mention the fact that she’s Bono’s daughter.
I stayed up until 4 in the morning the other night to binge this. I really enjoyed it. There are better shows in this genre, but this was certainly entertaining and worth a watch.

Haven’t seen Sing Street, but just saw him in Midsommar as I finally got around to watching it. Not as over-the-top douchey in that as in The Perfect Couple, but certainly a douche in both. Was wondering if he’s just a good actor or more of an irl douche.
