Do you think it still holds up?

I hated it when it came out.
So, no.
So, no.

Classic soundtrack , was listening to it the other day (a couple of years ago)

You’re a pretty big douche so I can see that.

Holds up even better. Movie is a quirky little story about lonely people coming to terms and accepting themselves. Everyone is insecure except Napoleon, whose dorky confidence brings out the best in all around him.

Weird like that never goes out of style.

My 11 year old loved it so I would say it holds up.

Wow 20 years? It definitely still holds up. Great movie and very quotable even today.

Not only does it hold up, it’s a perfect movie. Absolutely in my top 10 of all time.

Honestly, me too. I never cared for the “cringe awkwaaaaaard” style humor that was popular in the mid 2000’s thanks to shows like “The Office”.
I don’t hate “Napoleon Dynamite” anymore, but it still feels so overrated for an era rife with great comedy movies. Compared to what we get today, it’s a masterpiece.

It's really not. It's as awful as it was the day it came out.

When he rolls his sleeve up it gets me every time.

I made dinner for the wife on our anniversary last week, set the plate down and said god Tina - eat your ham you fat lard.
laughs were had, sex was not

That character was perfect. Every single high school in America had at least one of “that guy” on campus.
To the OP, it for sure holds up. My kids, nieces, nephews all love it. As previous posters have noted, awkward teens and their struggles within a high school popularity hierarchy, is a timeless theme.
One of my all time favorites. Sometimes simplicity is good.
