Trey is just better off the bench

It seems like a mental thing too, which isn't great, but he looked completely different tonight off the bench.

Nah. He's just better off playing offball. We were crazy to play him as much onball as we have.

Trey was pressing. Trying to be more than he is right now. If he plays hard and lets the game come to him, he will be just fine either way.

I agree. His role should be a microwave off the bench. Can still get him close to starter minutes but it just seems to work better for him off the bench

According to the stats they showed on the broadcast, he’s good when he’s playing with BI. Not very good when he’s not. From a shooting perspective at least, which is what we most need from Trey.

Weird how everyone seemed to play well last night. Trey, CJ, Murray. Almost like having a guy out there to take all the defensive pressure makes all the role players better. Crazy to think.
Now maybe some of you will realize the importance of BI and his skillset (and Mr fatass). It’s why when all of you wanted to trade him, me included, I was demanding we get back someone with his scoring ability b/c Trey cannot take BIs place.

this... Trey Murphy should NEVER be bringing the ball down the court... that's one of the absolute weakest parts of his game, ball handling...
but Willie fricking Green, ladies and gentleman

This year he hasn't though. It's odd

Trey is better when he has space.
