Rode out to Fatboy’s in Manchac, The old gal that runs it was diagnosed with cancer. She said she’d be back. She is. Good as always. My wife was working, I ate there and brought her home a poboy. Y’all give it a try if you’re out that way. :)

Finally made it to MaMou after 2 years. Braised celery hearts with smoked beef tongue; deviled eggs with tuna tartar; black drum Florentine; bread service (pretzel batard); madeleines with lemon creme anglaise. Martini and a glass of port. Worth every fat gram consumed
