Give me your best guess. I think there will be a good bit of rotation throughout the weekend in right field and at the DH & catcher positions. Curoious as to everyone else's thoughts, particularly those that have had a chance to go out to some scrimmages.
1) Curiel - LF
2) Dickinson - 2B
3) Milam - SS
4) Jones - 1B
5) Brown - RF
6) Braswell - 3B
7) Larson - DH
8) Arrambide - C
9) Stanfield - CF
Anderson on the mound.

Hernandez at c
Dh will depend on opponent pitcher
If lefty I think it’s Frey
If righty probably Larson or Pearson or even reaves
Rest is accurate

I'm sticking with what I went with a few days ago.
Stanfield
Milam
Jones
Brown
Dickinson
Pearson
Hernandez
Curiel
Braswell
I went all R/L.
Several options at leadoff. Stanfield, Curiel, Dickinson. Milam and Jones may even hit there eventually.
I know Curiel has mostly hit 2 hole - I just went a different way. If I hit him 2 hole, I change alot more in the order.
I think Larson could DH, but Pearson gets the opening day nod.
Braswell needs to start hitting or Reaves will take his spot.

I think that's about right, only Hernandez will probably be the starter at Catcher. I like Larson at DH, but it will depend on who's hot at the time.

3) Jones - 1B
4) Brown- RF
5) Milam - SS
6) Hernandez - C
7) Larson - DH
8) Dickinson -2B
9) Braswell - 3B
The 3 righties in a row at the bottom isn't the most ideal thing for how Jay runs the lineup, but I feel pretty decent about my top 4 guess. Stanfield and Curiel have been 1-2 in a lot of scrimmages as of late.
ETA: Anderson as my SP

I personally loved Larson last year and would love to see him start out on the lineup. I think he has a lot of talent and a higher floor than Stanfield, but we’ll see.

Maybe at the plate, but not as an overall player.

Curiel & Stanfield could maybe flip flop here.

I disagree, Larson made some nice plays in the field last year, highlighted by a great catch vs Uga in the tourney. All I know is it’s a pretty good disagreement to have, if we’ve got t multiple SEC caliber outfielders on the bench.

Larson is very heavy footed. That's not saying he's slow, but he's heavy footed for an OF. Stanfield glides. The best defensive OF is Curiel, Stanfield, and Brown. Mic Paul is a better defender than Larson. I think Larson also needs to work on arm strength.
I love Larson. I would not be afraid of Larson starting in the OF. He does what needs to be done.

Think Jay gives the vet Stanfield and his speed a chance to lead off. If the avg/obp dip then I could see him move to the 9-hole

Braswell at 3rd concerns me

My guess based on scrimmages and a little of my opinion would be:
1. Stanfield - CF
2. Curiel - LF
3. Jones - 1B
4. Brown - RF
5. Dickinson - 2B
6. Milam - SS
7. Hernandez - C
8. Pearson/Larson - DH
9. Braswell - 3B
This is what I posted yesterday in the thread up top. I think Brown and Milam are interchangeable in this lineup to flip flop. Whoever is the hotter hitter will be protecting Jones throughout the season. If neither can provide that protection it will be very interesting to see who steps up to do that.
