I'm failing to see any sort of end here by continuing on our current track. Am I missing something? To break Russia? If so, why is that something the US needs to be involved in?

Trump ran on stopping the War so that's what he is trying to do. But lets say he changes his tune and instead simply backs off and forces Nato/ Europe to step in. What then? Seriously? Are we really thinking Ukraine could EVER attack INTO Russia?

I just fail to see an end here. Russia and Ukraine will always border each other. So what ever changes?

I was told by a special ops military kind of guy I go to church with and trust that nearly all the land Russia has “taken over” was theirs to begin with and it’s not the bully effort everyone has been led to believe against Ukraine.

But I can’t see the end game either. Except the end game where Jesus comes back and EVERY knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.

On that day, everyone outside of Christ will be broke and headed for hell and those in Christ will have everything! Praise God!

Stop trusting him. The lands Russia has taken over are areas that have experienced civil conflict in Ukraine since the Maidon Revolution in 2014.

It appears to me that we are cutting off aid and assistance to Ukraine. Russia sees this and is ratcheting up their attacks.

I don’t believe we will see a peace negotiation any time soon. Rusdia eill keep grinding westward. Europe will help Ukraine. Thdd we war will continue.

Trump is becoming a non factor and backing out.

This is my guess as to what happens over the next year.

The goal is to expand NATO or the EU with like minded marxist countries and ultimately make Russia capitulate. Russia is preventing this effort. If the CIA could run a color revolution on Moscow, then they would.

So then why isn't Nato already expanded? What does this war have to do with it? Could we not expand Ukraine right now? Before the war started, was Ukraine not denied?

At the end of the day there has to be some sort of a border between Russia and Europe. Ukraine doesn't want it, so who is it going to be?

No amount of American funding will end this war. The only option to end it is to put boots on the ground. It will take years. It will cost American lives.

The end game is to stop funding and let it play out. If Europe steps up, Ukraine will bleed out over a longer period of time. If they don’t, they’ll capitulate more quickly.

Ukraine lost this war before it began.

Only semi plausible reason would be to keep it a snale pace on advance while peace talks are ongoing. So occupied land doesn’t change much while talks are ongoing

Those older posters here who remember Vietnam can attest that the U.S. public has a time limit on these commitments. Our intervention in VN was very popular in year one. Every proceeding year saw a drop in the polls favoring our remaining involvement. The same thing is happening with U.S. aid to Ukraine. If this war goes on for another year or two then any Congressional candidate voting for funds to Ukraine will lose if running in 2026.

Best case for the US is a complete untangling BEFORE we get roped into rebuilding…

Russia wanted membership into NATO, but has been lied to and ultimately denied entry. Russia has stated that they didn't want NATO to expand around them if they couldn't get membership. The US has continued to expand NATO around Russia. Russia has drawn a line in the sand and stated Ukraine is NOT to be allowed entry or there will be consequences. Russia sees that they are being surrounded and they want it stopped.

This war is about a Russian friendly gov't that was overthrown by the CIA in 2014. Now the US has been using the country as a base to launder money, develop bio weapons and as a operations base to destabilize the regions on Russia's border.
