We are not rebuilding

At least not this year. Moves are apparent that this staff thinks it can win now. Right or wrong, it doesn't really matter at this point.

And you are basing this opinion on what?

Correct, which means our worst fears are being realized. We’re mortgaging the future on the 26 and beyond credit card with the foolish belief we’re closed to the Commanders or Eagles.
We’ll be lucky not to finish last in the South.

I don’t think we’ve done anything too crazy. They’re familiar with young and he’s still not 26 yet. If he can hold down a pass rushing spot as a good starter for 3 years I think it was an ok move if not a bit of an overpay.

Well, they've said as much. This shouldn't come as a surprise.

The Saints are like that old senile person
who obviously is too old and weak to drive a car, but they insist that they can still do it and won’t give their car keys up.

Probably basing it on Mickey Loomis constantly saying he doesn’t believe in rebuilding.

Name the corner stone or franchise players of this team?
No offense to either McCoy or Davis whom I love
But McCoy while our best OL probably isn't even Top 15 in the league
Davis is gonna be 36?
WTF are we doing
We have White less talented Dak Prescott
We have the unfortunate ending of a brilliant career in Cam Jordan on our books
We have more holes than answers and still a lot of questions on this roster...like what the hell are doing

The Saints admin is terrified of a pure rebuild because one or two years of being a bottom 5 team will tank season ticket sales for a while

Loomis is making sure that this team can’t even BEGIN to rebuild for at least another 4 to 5 years. This team is royally F*CKED.

Royally fricked? We have the most dramatic fanbase. They are building a team to compete for the division. You might not agree with it, but obviously new coaching staff does not want to bottom out and hope they hit on a rookie QB before they get on the hot seat.
As was said in another thread, with basically the same team and a shitty coaching staff, we were 7 points away from being 9-8. That includes having the SuperBowl champs on the ropes and being a 2 point conversion away from beating the NFC runner-ups.

The team that ends up on the field will not be a playoff team. It won't be close, IMO.
The next playoff team for this franchise is years away. Things will get worse.

Mine jumped up a lot this year. They gonna tank this season. No playoffs in years and they go up on the price?
And the schedule is horrible.

Lol what? You think ticket sales are all of a sudden going to plummet. We’ve been shitty for years now. You think Derek carr was putting fans in the seats?
They don’t give a shite about tickets sales that’s not where they make their money

I believe rightly or wrongly all of the Saints management and ML,coach
KM believe that the 1 st 2 games of last season is closer to where they are
as a team than their finish. When they were HEALTHY they looked pretty
good but lack of quality depth
