Anyone ever eat at Denny's?

I've never tried it, but they just opened one up nearby. Is it worth a shite?

Ate it a few months ago in Houston

What is this? Something similar?

It’s gone downhill pretty significantly. A decade or so ago it was a very good place to get breakfast. Now - it’s mediocre at its absolute best, sometimes it’s just plain bad.

Used to be great for late night breakfast, but it’s been about a decade since I lived close to one.

I've been eating there for 45+ years. Ate one in Baytown a couple months back. I like it.

Ate at one in LC years ago. There was no need to try it again. I guess it wouldn’t hurt for you to try it once

Randomly went to Denny's with some coworkers about a month ago, was the first time I'd been to one in 10-15 years. I'm good for another 10-15 years.
Much like IHOP, there was a time it was a good breakfast place, but that time has passed.

I always liked stopping in Denny's. I guess because I have this random memory of eating french toast there when I was about 10 with my parents. Nothing special but always stuck in my mind.
I haven't ate at one very much in the past 15 years or so, but it's been pretty mediocre the last few times I ate there.

Drunken visits several times with the goto order:
The Moons Over My Hammy® is one of Denny’s most iconic and beloved breakfast dishes, combining a delicious balance of savory and creamy flavors. This hearty sandwich features two freshly scrambled eggs, juicy slices of ham, and melted Swiss cheese, all sandwiched between two slices of golden, buttery grilled sourdough bread. The dish is served with a side of crispy hash browns, making it a complete and satisfying breakfast or brunch option that will keep you fueled all day long. It’s a great choice for anyone who loves the classic flavors of eggs, ham, and cheese, but with a twist of indulgence and comfort.

It’s just like a lot of other restaurants like that. Huddle House, Waffle House, IHOP, etc. The farther you get away from simple bacon and eggs the more chance of sub par food. I rarely splurge for breakfast food though.

Mid 80's in BTR after 2 AM was pretty good. I miss Tiffin INN.
