They've had Bull sharks as far north as St. Louis in the Mississippi river before.

How the heck you supposed to eat him if he’s alive?

Probably shouldn't eat them often as the apex predators they get all the toxins absorbed by the stuff they eat, and what that ate, and so on. But I used to enjoy the heck out of some grilled shark steaks. Fried always came out just a bit greasy but still tasty. (this goes back to the 80's so plenty of time to have it occasionally in multiple ways)

Shark meat sucks. So many other things to eat that is good

I have eaten them, but specks and reds are infinitely better

kill them and let them rot.

The crustaceans and minnows that feast on the corpse will be well nourished and be eaten by fish that actually taste good. Catch and eat those fish.

Nothing is wasted in the ocean.

Never kept a shark to eat but bonnetheads are pretty damned good. Kill them immediately and bleed them and brine them a couple of hours prior to cooking and they are very good. I have eaten shark steaks and it was fine but never kept one for the table other than bonnetheads.
