Anybody convinced we “suck” is just falling prey to the preseason negativity.
They showed heart and fought well. Given what *I* think was relatively lopsided refereeing (see Olave “incompletion” on last drive as just one example), I think we went toe to toe with them.
If we are a 3 win team, then Arizona is pretty bad too. Maybe that’s the case, but I’m of the opinion that the “consensus assessment” that this could be the worst team in the league is still silly.

There were times when we looked OK and there were other times we looked downright dreadful. This is gonna be a year of improvement. I just want us to look better towards the end of the year so that we can build off of that moving forward.

Yep. This is nowhere near a playoff team, but not "worst in the league / 0-17" type shite that people in the national media & on this board have been saying.
They will win 3-5 games. What we are looking for is growth from young players, finding out if Kellen Moore is the guy (how are the schemes?), and finding out if Rattler or Shough is the guy. That's it. Wins are secondary.

I agree to the point we have a lot of upside. Only because there were so many correctable mistakes

We should take the NFC South unless the refs keep rigging it against us. I don’t see anyone as good as us in our division.

Yeah the Cardinals are terrible. I thought we played hard and it’s nice to see that but we are just also terrible.

They lost. That’s how your measured in the NFL. You either make plays, especially with the game on the line, or you don’t. You don’t get credit for almost winning.

It’s 1 game. I’d prefer a bigger sample before I conclude anything. We fought and played hard.
