Anyone use one of these as a daily pocket knife? Thoughts on the knife?

I have a hard time spending more than $150 on a pocket knife but have a couple in the $250 range. I don’t think I could ever do $350 but I do have a few custom skinners that are $500 to $650 but they are more like an art piece

The older I get the more I realize there’s a solid spot in the middle that suits me best. Can still get really nice stuff without settling for subpar stuff.

That one at least looks like it's stout. Every BM knife I have picked up is too light and breakable feeling. I like a knife with some heft.

Youd love the adamas. Grossly expensive, but I have one and it is awesome. Holds an edge really well and sharpens very easily. Very solid and definitely hefty. Its heavy.

It was on sale at Cabela’s I think for $260 and I had a GC that paid for most of it. I probably wouldn’t have bought it without having the GC but glad I got it.

I just switched from Case back to Buck because I keep losing them and $30/ea is a little easier to swallow than $75.

The Claymore OTF or the folder? I'm not a fan of Benchmade's Grivory/FRN handles, always feel cheap for what they charge for those knives. Better to get a Griptillian and put a set of AWT scales on it. The DA OTF Claymores are OK, DA OTF's in general are a good EDC option.

Benchmade's entire product line is absurdly priced now.

All I read was "Benchmade Claymore" before clicking the link. Very disappointed to discover this is about a pocket knife. Very disappointed indeed.

That is true, I remember when Griptillians were $40 - $60, just solid pocket knives. I even have two Benchmade Red Class knives, import-made and under $30, back when they were doing that whole Red, Blue, Black, and Gold Class arrangement.
