Loved her. That Irish bit of broge voice. She was lovely but obviously troubled.

I learned linger on piano for a gig and sat there just amazed in how the timing of her lyrics went with the song. Her line “so why were you holding her hand” the way it comes in and shines on “hand” with the chord change is simply beautiful. RIP

Can't seem to find the actual video on youtube.
Found a Facebook post but the video sucks.

She was one of the celebrity deaths I dwelled on for a bit. She was so talented and Cranberries was a huge part of my high school/teen years.

Her death was sad and a little mysterious, but I don’t know how troubled she was. She was reportedly happy at the time.

I'd always read that she passed out due to fentanyl while in a tub and drowned. Not that it was suicide. I think the Cranberries were just about to have a reunion in fact.
