Jardin Gilbert apparently took a redshirt this year and I'm guessing will try to get a 6th year next year. He popped up vs OU the last game and I was like "damn, I forgot all about him".

Yeah
West Weeks did something similar last year (4 regular season games, then the bowl) and that let him come back this year.

This is exactly the kind of game to give young guys like him some bowl practice prep and PT.
