Just saw a headline that says someone committed suicide at PLP this morning on a bench.

It’s just a place a lot of people go daily so just strange. Sorry to interrupt your day.

Is that the beach area along I-10? Always thought it looked really nice especially for somewhere in Louisiana.

Makes sense. You wouldn't want to fall on the ground and hit your head.

That particular area is really nice. This area would be where a lot of the big money starts on the west side. Very well taken care of place and people use it which is the best part.

PLP is on the lake south of 210. Pretty nice neighborhoods all around it.

No. This is on the I-210 side and not right off 210 either. It's further south off Prien Lake Rd.
It is a nice park. It was not always that way, but it was greatly improved over a decade ago. Sad to hear.

Probably one of the nicer parks literally in the state

Could have come to a park in BR and have somebody do it for you.

Ever wonder why more people don't commit suicide by electrocution?

i get that returning to work after the holidays really sucks but this is taking it too far

Honestly I don’t know how it was ruled a suicide so quickly.
I saw a pic and if they used a firearm I would think the body would be going one way or the other. If they didn’t, I don’t know how you know it’s a suicide yet. Even if a note was left. I would think you’d need to test a couple things.

The person could have used the traditional method for that area like Dr. Timothy Boreing did back in 2021.

Yeah, you can rule that a suicide easily.

You might want to sit down for this ...
