Yeah this would be a win win in my book. If Greenland did willingly become a part of the US, we could have our bases there and not need NATO to have bases everywhere in Europe.

Why are they fantasizing about the US attacking Greenland?
The US isn’t attacking a peaceful, friendly country
If Greenland wants to peacefully and freely become part of something great and enrich themselves, then they can do it
But the US isn’t going to make anybody do anything at least anybody that’s not a hostile danger to our country

How would the US taking over Greenland NOT boost NATO's power in a huge way? The US military machine is a bit contributing factor to NATO's legitimacy.
