unless he comes back and takes this game, he should just resign. There is NO way anyone on this team will have confidence.

Our only wins will be if the other team shoots like 10 to 20 percent from the field and 30 percent from the free throw line.

This is just a pathetic performance. I can see having one of these games on the road, but wow. Just resign and put a little life into the rest of the season - that just started.

Hard to believe both of our basketball teams could be 0 - 4 after tonight.

Such a rookie mistake believing in Matt McMahon at this point of his tenure. It’s okay, baw.

What have you seen from him that gave you any indication he’s even average at his job?

I’ll bite. I thought the offensive numbers early were indicative of superiority to past McMahon teams.

Turns out that was a crock of shite

I thought he got some much better guard play in the transfer portal. But, one or two injuries and they just crumble - although they are making it a game in the 2nd half.

Again, if they come back to win this, it could be the start of something big.

Unless we come back & win this game...this will be the nail in the coffin for McMahon.

I know he's missing his PG, but I think this game is the turning point.

Or it could just be one win against one of the worst SEC teams

This loss will bump us clean out of Lunardi's next bracketology

Barring an upset win over Vandy Saturday, this team has a slim shot at the tournament. The one thing they had going is that they had no bad losses with the dogshit schedule. Thus the NET of 38. Will prob be down to 60-70 after this one

Seriously not a question trying to defend CMM but how is it teams that have been shooting at the bottom of the league from behind the line play LSU and shot 70% three pointers?

They had a decent shot of starting sec play 2-0 but shite the bed. I don’t see any other wins on the schedule as it stands. Sure they’ll sneak up and win a couple. But this needs to be the last year of Mc-experience.

The only time this program under McMahon has ever pointed in a positive direction was when he beat an injury riddled Arkansas team in his first ever SEC game. It's been a disaster ever since.

I don't think you can say the turning point was anything other than the day he was hired.

All I'm saying is that if anyone had any hope at all...this should be the definitive end of it. This is the moment that everyone should accept the fate of McMahon.
