Give me second, read...

I wasn't able to watch game real time, just chimed in an "LSU" in game thread. I made sure to go radio silence on this game, so I could watch later.

I watched the entire replay of the game, without knowing the outcome.

That shite was fricking terrible.

Without a doubt.

Given that the margin of error was already slim, this loss is very magnified. It’s only a matter of time. A 14-42 SEC record doesn’t magically get fixed in the next 16 games.

Hopefully this starts to get corrected in the next 2.5 months at the earliest.

He conveniently has not posted tonight (at least I haven’t seen anything from him).

Coward.

Somehow we wish cast losses. Why in the world would I save it to watch, not knowing the outcome.

It's hard to say. There are so many to chose from.

I'm about done cheering for any McMahon lead team. If that makes me a bad fan, frick it I'll be that. Just go ahead and lose the rest and get this bum out of here. It's a fricking joke at this point.

The fact Scott Woodward and the powers that be thought increasing the NIL for this bum would make any difference tells me they haven't watched the games his first few years. The guy just can't fricking coach in the SEC. I hate that he lost Thomas, but a good coach can still find a way to beat bad teams without their best player. Not this bum.

Losing to Nicholls is #1 for me, especially considering they were up 28 on us at one point

In my opinion, Woody’s pride gave CoachMc this season. Losing DJ hurts for sure, but there is a history of failure. At some point people need to recognize. CoachMc may be the greatest person on earth, and a good basketball coach. But we’ve all seen this isn’t working.

Again, I saved to watch and root very much for us to win. But it was was a struggle to close the gap at home against the worst team in the SEC. This was a must win for me.

Team was not focused tonight nor did they play with great effort. Missing DJ hurt bigtime, but the game we played was so bad not even DJ could have saved us.

Extremely disappointing. We left early. I can take losing but not losing to a crappy team because of poor play. And our play was as poor as I have seen it this season.

We went into football with such high hopes, and I don't believe anyone in the the athletics department thought it would get bad enough that we would fire Kelly in October.

I think Kelly was going to be fired no matter what, but do they fire him midseason if we had just thrown a big number at a new basketball coach?

I would bet in hindsight, they are glad they kept McMahon another year, no matter how shitty this season is. The whole Kiffin thing had to be exhausting (and still is) and the guy they brought in would be at least somewhat tied to Woodward. At least now Ausberry can have buy in on the new hire and not be distracted by the football regime change during the process.

Bro we won the second half by 15 and just barely lost by double digits again.

We also had Reed out and Thomas out so it’s really a win we kept this within 20.

Plus the rims are too lose in the pmac

Definitely Nicholls. Their coach was the youngest coach in all of D1 coaching in his first game at LSU. Nicholls paid him so little that he was living in a dorm with his players. Humiliating

The rims being too loose at the PMAC is hall of fame pirate bottom material

Combine that with the “great” game last Saturday and LSU is currently 2-0 in SEC play.

If they can be within 10 with 7:00 to go at Vanderbilt that will count as another “win”.

I hesitate to post because basketball just isn't my sport. Don't care for it. At any level. Well except watching my son in Biddy, high school and AAU. I haven't watched a single game this year...men or women...and don't plan to.

But I gotta say man, when WW was the coach, I couldn't NOT watch. He didn't make me a basketball fan but he made me a fan of following my college team. He got me in the PMAC.

I'm not saying bring him back because he made a really stupid mistake but man, at least bring in someone LIKE him. Someone who brings excitement back to my favorite University. Not like this milquetoast guy running the show now.

j/k - Bring back tPear!

Recency bias is always strong, I'd have to go back through, but it was very disappointing and would be in the discussion for sure.

We looked listless defensively, and the only reason we cut the lead to 7 in the second half (with plenty of time remaining mind you) was not because we were playing great, it was South Carolina just really ain't that good.

For a Tiger broadcast, it was surprising - but Blair and Brady really challenged CMM a bit post game.

Blair's opening comment to CMM was that the defense looked like it was moving very slowly in the first half.

CMM mentioned that's the third game where we had a major defensive malfunction in the first half and Brady asked him what is it as a coaching staff that we can go back and look at that is causing this to happen repeatedly. CMM said the specific issues were different for each of the 3 games - Tech, Prarie View and this one.

Brady also asked him if he thought about doubling the post when the big booty guy for the Cocks kept backing us down for easy put ins in the second half. CMM said they did a couple of times - I was there and I question that.

Brady also mentioned Nwoko likes to go with his right hand over his left shoulder in the post and the Cocks were not letting him do that....they were making him turn the other way and he was pretty ineffective and that other teams are going to do that. CMM did not say much but that he agreed.
