It appears Trump has broke the anti-American axis in a year without fighting a real war

Trump genuinely managed to break the anti-American Axis in a single year.
This coalition was destined to be America's greatest geopolitical threat in the 21st century, and Trump basically dissolved it without fighting any real wars.
Venezuela is off the table. Iran is severely weakened and collapsing. Russia and China didn't come to their defense and basically abandoned them.
Militarily, America proved it's still the most powerful on Earth with no close competitors. Economically, Trump's "imperialism" is ensuring natural resource dominance for decades to come.
He's securing America's global position in the 21st century. People don't appreciate the complicated geopolitics quite yet, but they will.

I will have to ponder this.
But it’s one hell of an exciting thought initially.

The huge loser in this is Russia. Russia has lost Syria, Venezuela, and probably Iran; all of which were core to Russia's ability to project power outside of its borders.
Russia has been exposed as nothing but a paper tiger.

Russia could not come to their defense because they had to go all in on Ukraine. That is what our Ukraine war has gotten us - regime change in Syria, the capture of Venezuela (probably could have gotten this anyway), and Iran toppling.

This has been known for a long time.

Trump talked about a strong America and how it was slipping away in the 70-80’s ( at the time it was Japan ). If you think that having a strong America means everything stops at the borders because it’s not our business then America is destined to fail. There is a difference in meddling in countries business and securing American strategic interests and strengthening.

I need Roger's opinion on this. Where is that clown?

Cautious optimism. The wounded dog is the most dangerous.

Dunno - they still have nukes - don't know if they were ever feared for anything but their power to initiate a nuclear exchange. Since their withdrawal from Afghanistan, they have not projected power to influence other areas without the threat of nuclear catastrophe.

A) cardboard tiger?
B) plastic tiger?
C) glass tiger?

This is a fair observation. Seems correct.

It stems from not being burdened by what has been in the light of what should be.

Foreign policy achievements alone, he’s the greatest president of most of our lifetimes. We’re blessed to have him.
