this article was updated 10 minutes before midnight last night (01/08/2025), and they still are unaware of the video that i saw two days ago that indisputably shows the car hitting the officer?

That’s exactly what NPR said this morning.
“It was unclear if the video contacts the officer.”
Thank God Elon bought Twitter or we would never see the clear video of the SUV striking the officer.
What angers me is the reporters saw the video of the SUV hitting the officer and just lied about it to millions of people.
I’m not surprised, I’ve seen the media lie like this for over 40 years, but it does anger me.

Even if it is unclear, the officer fired so he would not be struck by the vehicle. Do these morans think they have to wait to be hit by a vehicle before firing?

Not only that but the story that this woman was a trained professional agitator actively interfering with a federal operation. The media seems to just gloss over that part too.

He didnt shoot her because she hit him. He shot her because:
1) she was about to hit him (shot through windshield);
And
2) once she "cleared" him, she was a threat to other (2nd and 3rd shots).

I reject the premise that the car has to contact the officer before the threat is real. That's absurd.

Hard fact of life, actions have consequences. If you show up ready to confront law enforcement, act out with hostility, make bad decisions and act on them, you may have to pay a heavy price your actions. Just because you see it your way does not equate to it being seen the same way by law enforcement. Solution is quite simple, stay away from officers doing their job and do not confront them or threaten their safety. To do otherwise will win you a Darwin award.

That was the 3rd or 4th time she had tried to block/impede ICE that day. They had enough and was trying to remove her from the car to arrest her, she chose to run and therefore hit an agent and he stopped the threat. What more is there to say? She chose poorly in the game of life.
