Dante Moore appears to be COMPLETELY overrated (shocker). I think he would definitely be better served going back to Oregon next year.

Mendoza looks like he’s pretty good, but I would say he’s overrated as well. I think last years class will be better than this years class

WTF? He's going to be a good QB based on what I'm watching. I remember when people were saying there were no sure thing top QBs coming out

I said that I think he’s pretty good. I just think that Shough is definitely better than he is. Shough was picked at 40 and Mendoza will likely go in the top 5 (if not 1). So it’s either Shough was SEVERELY underrated or Mendoza is overrated.

Probably a little of both

QB's are molded and formed by solid Offensive Lines

First time I've really watched Mendoza. Guy is a friggin cyborg. Like.. an idiot savant qb.

If he gets taken to a team with some great Offensive coordinator minds ill think he'll kill it.

But, if its the raiders... he's a dead man walking

Overrated? Please explain how this guy is overrated? He’s more than likely the #1 pick as well. Dante Moore just torpedoed his draft stock. He basically has no choice but to come back to school next year which takes Oregon out of the Leavitt race.

This is the first full game I’ve ever watched Mendoza play and I went in with the feeling that he’s overrated. I can confidently say I was wrong and this dude is a legit NFL caliber QB. He hasn’t made a really bad play yet and most of his reads and passes have been perfectly on point. He will be way better than any QB in the last draft not named Shough and the best in this years draft easily.

To quote Edwin Edwards, only way Mendoza doesn’t go 1 is if he is caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy.

Guy is as sure fire a number 1 lock as you’ll see.

He’s a raider and I think will be great.

2026 Raiders:
Mendoza
Jeanty
Bowers
John Harbaugh

The main knock I’ve seen the “experts” give on Mendoza is he drops his eyes too quick. I watched tonight, and while I did see him give up on plays and run too soon, I also saw him take his time and read through his progressions.

If this is his only drawback, then this dude is going to be special. That is something which is coachable, and he looks to be a star

He sure looked it tonight. Biggest game of his career to date and he drops a turd on the field? Yeah, good luck. Mendoza is the absolute pick at 1 now after this disaster.

I don’t know man. Pair him with a decent offensive mind and I think the sky is the limit. Glad he won’t be in our division.

This game was worst case scenario for Saints because Dante Moore looked like a high school QB.. We need him to be picked ahead of us and he may have played his way out of the top 8

Read something on X from an NFL scout about Mendoza being still and a product of a good system. Always knows where he’s going cause the play is set that way, and I think the scout had great resume so take it for what it’s worth. College has a tendency to make subpar QB’s look like studs
