Married 3x, has 3 kids with his first 2 wives, none with current wife Melissa Gilbert. Whom he married in 2013.
Seems he's had allegations before, of a 17 yr old girl, back in 1994 and in 2012, another woman.
A 10 yo boy would be something new for Timothy though.

This is interesting, because Busfield is not only an actor, but has directed a ton of television. I haven’t checked his IMDB, but he was working in Hollywood for at least 30 years straight. And Melissa Gilbert—his wife—I’m pretty sure was President of the Actors’ Guild for quite a while. So not only has he had a ton of access to underage kids in Hollywood for 40+ years, but if he’s been doing this, it was likely very well known and covered up.

One child actor later claimed that Busfield first touched his "private areas" multiple times on set when he was just seven years old.
The following year, the child alleged that the inappropriate contact happened again on several occasions.
The boy reportedly explained that he was "afraid to tell anyone because Tim was the director, and he feared Tim would get mad at him."
Investigators also interviewed therapists and medical professionals as part of the inquiry.
According to the affidavit, one of the children told a therapist that Busfield touched his "genitalia" and "bottom" while in a bedroom on the set.
The document notes that the child experienced bed-wetting "along with other behavior issues," was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety, and suffered nightmares "about the director touching him."

The studio reportedly received an anonymous tip through the SAG-AFTRA hotline in February 2025 concerning a December 2024 incident.
While Warner Bros. investigated the claims, the studio later said it did not find evidence to support them.
Despite that conclusion, the criminal complaint includes additional allegations. It claims Timothy Busfield once entered a hair and makeup trailer and "kissed a minor male on the face as the minor was getting a haircut."
It also alleges that "there are pictures of Mr. Busfield' tickling and caressing the head and body of minor boys.'"

It's a thing that's hung around this guy for years, yet he's still firmly in the business. Hasn't phased him in the least, by most accounts, in either personal or professional life.
Yet the claims are with both girls and boys. Seems to me that's a special kind of sickness, unless I'm just super naïve about such things.
