Ole Miss QB Recruiting Question

I believe Ole Miss is linked to top QB targets such as DJ Lagway and Deuce Knight. I don't believe either guy is looking to be a backup.
Exactly how do they sell signing with them if they are going to appeal the Chambliss decision? As long as there is still the possibility he could come back then why should they sign with Ole Miss? If he got the waiver they would essentially be screwed without any way to get out of a contract. I would not sign with them if I was a top target unless they could guarantee me they weren't pursuing that.
I don't think it's just about money for these guys. It's not like taking a bunch of wide receivers and money can make them happy.
It seems like Ole Miss could be super screwed if they just wait it out, but how can they sell anything to these guys if they are appealing?

After a 3rd & final appeal, Chambliss was officially denied a waiver on Friday.

Thanks for the response, but it sounds like they are still going to fight it. At least depending upon if Chambliss wants to fight it.
I don't know the technical terms, but I heard something about an injunction and that it could still go to court.
Side note, Ole Miss fans are really confident they go 10-2 next season. Even with a more difficult schedule.

I think all the appeal talk was just about showing public support to Trinidad. I don't see how he doesn't get a agent and capitalize on a really weak qb draft class and all the momentum he has currently.

And, his attorney promptly announced that he has prepared a lawsuit against the NCAA. We'll have to see if they actually go forward with it. Probably, best for both sides for Chambliss to receive a decent draft projection, and move on to the NFL.

Ole miss filed an appeal with NCAA so the case is still open. If I recruit against them I would use that to my advantage.

QB raffle is playing live in the media. Miami, LSU, and Ole Miss in the running for the top talent. It is basically an auction to see who bids the most to acquire the prize. Agents are going to fuel the fire to get the most bang for the buck. Schools are desperate to get the right QB to lead their team to the promised land and will spend whatever it takes to accomplish that goal.

DJ Lagway is there to make Deuce commit.

I thought Lags committed to Baylor already and it’s down to Knight left for OM.

Lagway changed his mind, still taking visits

It’s been reported that Lagway’s commitment to Baylor is only verbal. That’s not binding. He can still change his mind until he signs something.

I wonder if Dart will go pro next year too?

“Top QB targets”
“Lagway”
These 2 do not belong in the same sentence. Delusional take.
