Davis took a lot of bumps last year, but I fully expect him to be a strong starter for us, with better coaching.

I think he has the tools to be tackle. Horrible scheme and technique last year. Hopefully coaching a an elite scheme will help

It was clear as day that Kiffin and staff saw something in him and Moore from jump, and prioritized them.

He has all the traits, but plays top heavy and with no agility. I think good technical coaching will help all the kids coming back.

Add Curne to that list for me. He was so young and thrown in a starting spot. I think he had a lot of potential. He wasn’t rated that highly out of high school and as one of the top linemen in the portal for no reason.

Fans, including me, hit his play a lot. I am positive with a new staff, new S&C coach and new outlook, he will do well.

LSUhas signed more than 1 player over the years considered 5* that never lived up to that ranking.Why do you think Cignetti wins it’s not because of stars ,it’s called evaluation of talent and coaching.GEAUX LANE!!!

Young tackles get beat, good tackles get beat, great tackles get beat, a guard playing tackle gets beat probably a little more often but he had some pretty good series and looked good at times whether you want to admit it or not.

Except he’s not a guard, he’a tackle. Hopefully he gets better coaching and is the starting RT.

Curne just has slow feet...pure and simple. He might be a good guard but tackle is not his position. I thought that video where he did that cheerleader somersault was damn impressive but he was running in a straight line to do that. From what I saw, his lateral movement was piss poor.
