They had a lot of success like Kiffins offenses always do. Just wondering how do our players we have now compare to what they had this year?

Meh. Not really dogging you but I’d compare against all the likely top 15-20 potentially making the playoffs

Trinidad Chambliss was awesome. A great QB like that can make the offense great. I’d say the rest of the skill players were really good but the QB is very key.

Now? I’d say even. We got a QB on Chambliss’s level with potential to be better

We got 3-4 stud wide receivers and we also have TreDez

We will be tough to handle next year. All of our tough games are at home

They don't have anyone close to match Trey'Dez. Pretty much all they will have is Lacy that can match us

The obsession with Ole miss is kinda creepy

I think we need to worry more about shoring up the o-line than anything.

If they get Chambliss back, they will have the better QB.

The answer to your question may not be answered until this time next year

Healthy Levitt should be on par with end of season Chambliss.

Treydez, Tre Wilson, Jayce Brown, Watkins, Jackson Harris, Tre Brown, Anderson, etc are better receiving weapons overall than what Ole Miss had. The above includes 2 former 5 stars and very strong college production.

Our RB’s are the best group we’ve had since the pre BK era easily. 3 studs will be competing at RB. I can’t say anyone is better than Lacy at OM, but how’s he going to look without Lane and Charlie.

This Offense is stacked if the OL is average.

don’t be insulted by the downvotes but do know this: if you phrase your post as a question it’s a 100 percent probability you will be downvoted. I don’t really understand the phenomenon but that’s just how it is here. Matter of fact, there is a good chance you asked a great question (which yours is) and most of the folks responding will agree it’s a great question, but for whatever reason you will be downvoted to hell if it ends with a question mark.

LOTS of intelligent folks here. WAY more sub 100 IQs. don’t take it personally.

to your point, I think it is hard to say but our players this year obviously underperformed. Now, whether that was their own fault or a result of the scheme…I lean to scheme.

I mean, we were well within striking distance in all our losses except Texas arse to Mouth. and those wore all decently ranked teams. and with the worst offense in the past 40 years. so I honestly think it matters less who the players were versus who the coaches were.

coach kiffen/kiffing/kifern/kiffling/ki’fene will do better with whomever he’s got and I think we are in a really good position. and my ‘typos’ are just to make a point that you shouldn’t get insulted with your good question by the 90 IQ guys.

Kiffin was 1st in total offense in 2220, 2021, 2024 and 2025 in SEC. He was 3rd in 2022 and 2023. He makes the offense. Our guys are just as good or better.

Ole Miss was elite at the skill positions. Lacy is an elite RB1 and we had 3 receivers that no team could consistently cover one on one. Add in a downfield threat in 250lb TE Daquan Wright and it was a hell of a group. The wide receiver group doesn't get enough credit.

we’ve got weapons everywhere, but our 2026 success will be heavily dependent on the health of Leavitt and our O-Line’s performance.

Let me simplify it for you.

Everyone on the offense needs to put in serious work in the off-season, ad nauseam, to be in synch with one another. QB puts the ball where it needs to go.

Lane and Weiss will provide the setup scheme to make the aforementioned unit successful.

No one unit needs to do too much.

On paper it’s the best WR corps Kiffin has had as HC. SL10 and the Oline will define the Offense. The defense will also be the best he’s ever had as HC.
