I’m wondering if anyone has read about updates from his next projects?
- Starship Troopers (more truthful telling of the book/original story)
- District 10

I’ve never understood the hype for this guy. He’s made one good movie. The movies he hasn’t made but talked about making are more interesting than any of the other crap he HAS made.
District 9 appears to have been lightning in a bottle. Kinda like a band making a classic debut album and then never getting close to that again

I liked Elysium and Chappie, but I think I’m in the minority.

I would like to see District 10. See if they ever did come back with a cure for homeboy

What that movie could have been without those two crazy assholes from Die Antwoord.

He's actually made 2 very good films, 2 good films, and a Netflix anthology of short films.

elysium & chappie are the same movie…great premise, laughable execution. I have not seen the video game movie as it does not interest me at all.
take district 9 out of his filmography and see what you have. District 9 is an all timer, one of the best sci-fi movies ever made. The rest is mediocre at very best

He should've been the one to handle a Halo movie series
They flirted with it like 20 years ago and he made a short film that you can find on youtube called Halo: Landfall and it was exactly how Halo should've been.

Blomkamp has a great eye for visuals and knows how to believably mix CGI and practical effects. All his movies look great - much better than an Marvel movie. He is a crap writer, though. Zach Snyder has similar issues. They need someone else to write a good script, and a great editor to help them maintain pacing and story.

his best movie was his 7 minute halo 'feature'
so much promise...

Elysium = $286,192,091
Chappie = $105,002,056
- different plots and underlying messages.
Do you pay attention to films you watch? Clearly they are not the same movies.
