Adding Jordan Seaton is the finishing touch on the portal class

If somehow they can find the money to pull this off and bring in a ready made first round LT, this very well could be a national title contending team. You have the quarterback, bring back both running backs + newcomers, and an upgraded receivers room. Part of me wants to believe Kiffin closes this deal.

Honestly we are leaders for most of them guys.
I'm expecting Delane, Thomp, Dottery and Harper to all pop soon. U know Lane wants to finish the week/transfer enrollment period strong

I want to say we don’t have the money to pull them all, especially Seaton. But then again, I don’t know how we had the money to secure the guys we already got along with new deals to retain the core pieces of our roster.

Seaton is arguably the best player to enter the portal this year in my mind. Adding a future NFL LT would be a dream scenario for a Kiffin offense.
But he will be $$$$$$
I do want another LB, CB, and a few more OLs. If we get that, we're golden. Seaton is just lagniappe.

I just think Kiffin pulling Seaton after everything else would send such shockwaves through CFB and get SO much press that he’s worth more than just being an elite left tackle.
Adding him to the already insane haul completely obliterates all the negative narratives the media and other coaching staffs have been pushing. Recruits all over the nation hear the story, opposing schools pucker up a little bit, and it’s a clear statement of intent that tends to have a snowball effect.
For that reason in this INITIAL haul I don’t think it would be as hard to get some extra money.

Of course, but I'm not Lane Kiffin. I'm not sure he thinks it's necessary in his offense, which is very kind to offensive linemen. Might prefer to spend it elsewhere.

We have a great center, but the rest of the OL is an unknown. Center and LT are the most important. I think we can find 3 other quality players for the other 3 spots between Harper, Satterwhite and Strey, the other portal guys, and the returning players, but a stud at LT will be critical, and I'm not confident that we have that today. Seaton is a pass blocking stud, and our QBs won't be as successful without a stud to protect their blind side. We lost so much on the OL, and so much potential, that I think we are still weaker on the OL than we were before the portal opened, particularly at LT. I think with what we've picked up, plus Seaton, then we would be better than when we started. I would be happy if LSU just got Seaton and no more OL players.
