Originally I was considering Indiana because they've never won a national championship in football.

However, as the week is going by I start seeing comments that this Hoosier team is just as good if not better than the 2019 LSU Tigers. Which is BS and a loss would end all that talk.

That along with Big 10 schools having won the National Championship the last two years and I don't want their fanbase spewing nonsense about their conference being the dominant one.

As much as I hate it I might want to pull for Miami.

What say you?

FYI , if you " don't care" , that's great , you don't need to answer, because frankly I don't care.

I believe Indiana will cook.

However would like to see Miami win so we don’t have to hear the 2019 LSU comparisons or the “big 10 is the best” bs anymore

This comparison is annoying. It is only because both went undefeated. Offensively, I haven't seen total numbers but I suspect LSU had much better offense. But the competition LSU played that year was over and beyond what Indiana has faced.

I'll still probably pull for Indiana because of their history. Cignetti is pretty incredible to do what he did. I like the the Mendoza kid also.
I just don't like Miami in general. I like what Cristobal has done and his focus on the trenches, but I just don't like Miami. I hope they lose at home.

If Miami wins I won’t be mad at all I’ll just say that. I think Indiana does win though.

People cheering for Miami are terrorists. Might as well move to the middle East and declare jihad if you're cheering for Miami.

Have y'all forgotten what Miami can be? I don't have a complex about the 2019 team so that shite doesn't bother me. LSU neutered Miami and they've been down since the early 2000s. With the money they have there, I'd hate to see that paired with a championship this year.

Indiana may win won with Cignetti, but he's getting old and once he's done, they'll be back to being irrelevant. They're not a long term threat like Miami would be.

Miami just because they prematurely crowned and GOATed Indiana champions like Miami is going to be an easy game.

I met a Santa at a local McDonalds in town here in Alabama over the Christmas holiday. While speaking with him, he mentioned he played offensive line at Indiana during coach Lou Holtz’s early years. He had some great stories to share so I’m rooting for Indiana cause it will make Santa happy.

Ditto, but listening to POS Michael Irvin is torture. In all of sports I’ve never liked a lot of athletes, but none reach the hate I have for this trash. If you could be a fly on the wall back in their SB days of Dallas the crap Irvin was connected to would put people under the pokey nowadays. With social media he wouldn’t have made it out. I know if social media was around then we might all be in trouble, but this scum would be under the jail.

1) frick Miami, always
2) It is an awesome story. IU is the worst program of all time on the precipice of being the king of college football

exactly. IU winning it all would be a phenomenal story.

Who the hell cares about any 2019 comparison? I wouldn’t waste one second on worrying about that.

Miami, no question.

1. If Miami pulls out the win, it hurts Florida/Georgia recruiting (HS talent/Florida transfers) in the area.

2. Diminishes B10 nationally:
- Big10 has won several of the last national championships since NIL, arguably securing themselves as the “best” conference (since the dynamics have shifted); a loss may reshape conversations around that conference and its prominence.

3. Reset of the ACC.
- IMO a Miami victory may propel other conference members (FSU, Clemson, SMU, VaTech, Virginia, maybe NC schools) to allot more money towards their rosters, improving the landscape for football across the board.

4. BOLD POSSIBILITY: Conference finally makes Notre Dame choose to become a member.
- Miami winning could present the opportunity for conference leaders to force a move. Argument would seemingly be centered around possible scheduling matchups.
