Drug TV commercials aren’t made to sell drugs, but to keep the networks quiet

When is the last time you saw a TV news report about the side effects / negative results for a drug that advertises on said network? (If you watch TV). Spending money on commercials keeps the news rooms in line.
Doctors who can prescribe the drugs are already bought off by the drug reps. They don’t care about commercials.
You simply don’t dislike the mainstream media enough. Or maybe entire swaths of our society.

No shite. When was the last time you were able to even buy a drug that was advertised? NONE of them are over the counter so WHY are they even advertising on TV? Do doctors even watch alot of tv? I'm hoping not.

You are exactly right. It is one of the best examples of money laundering in the history of the world. How the pharmaceuticals use their insane profits to elect politicians and gag the media is well known but nobody goes down because no one talks about it.
We are really just a bunch of "guinea pigs" used by pharma to enrich themselves, politicians, and media.
Have you noticed the insane growth of hospitals and clinics in or near your area? Same strategy as well.

Yes, especially the ‘urgent care’ sites. And I have noticed how many of them have changed names.

Back in the day there used to be the occasional exposé... haven't seen one in a long, long time.

That explains the old school networks and the 24 hour news channels.
But does it explain ESPN, and HGTV?

Yeah, finally realizing that during COVID was a major redpill moment for me.

Grace Slick sung it best:
"Someone always playing corporation games,
who cares they're always changing corporation names."

This can also be called Fascism. Yet the Left calls us wanting to be left alone personally and enforce our legal immigration laws Fascists. It is so ironic and yet so sad the Left is so brainwashed.

Yep. Big Pharma pays off MSM to keep them quiet about side effects and the price of drugs being so much higher for Americans so we can pay for the rest of the world's drugs and all those stupid ads.

I think this has been an accepted fact for 10-15 years. MSNBC's total viewership was not sufficient to justify the hundreds of millions of dollars Big Pharma was paying them every year, it was simply Big Pharma money to support leftist propaganda.

It’s part of the Marxist scheme to keep the charade going. The networks couldn’t stay afloat because their programming is propaganda. Not enough want to watch that. Big pharmaceutical keeps them afloat. All the players get a seat at the table and must help each other out.
