It’s really weird. 9/11 is like a big joke to kids now. I have to explain to them “no guys a bunch of people died in that. It’s not funny.” Life is weird.

That was stupid.

And way catchier than it should’ve been.

Is it? Is that really a thing? I have never even remotely heard any young people joke about that or not think it was bad.

If anything the only humor I see around 911 is mocking the truthers

Yep.. I have experienced that with my 25yr old. She’s shared some “funny” memes or clips referencing 9/11and it’s rubbed me the wrong way.

It was, but it made sense… At least it was pro nuclear power.

My kids are 8 and 6 boys and to them and all their friends at school 9/11 is like a meme joke. I have to tell them it’s not funny all the time and they still occasionally joke about it with each other. It’s pretty crazy. Joe Biden is also a big joke to them but that’s normal he is a frickin joke.

It’s got to be something that kids can sing along to. There’s a whole generation who knows the preamble to the Constitution because it was catchy and easy to memorize.

We the people, in order to form a more perfect union, established justice and insure domestic tranquility - he he he, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare ah-and secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States a-ah-of America.

Berling water. Like a molecular reaction rave crawfish boil.

Complexity killed the fun in life.

My son made a 9/11 joke the other day. He’s 9. It was perfectly delivered from a comedic standpoint. It was beautiful.

I’ll admit. I’d better be able
To understand and retain the lyrics if it were rap and not the off beat emo rock

It is. I’ve heard some kids joke about anything including this. Falls into the same realm as holocaust jokes. In that they’re dark jokes about horrible events that these kids learn about but have no direct experience of because they’re too young or weren’t born

I don’t think it’s a super common thing to joke about but there are some kids (especially teenage boys) that will make pretty much anything into a joke

Physics for kids, I like it.

We should build more nuclear reactors for electrical grid distribution and save oil and gas for cars and trucks, and non transportation refined products.
