Kamala Harris skewered for ‘cringe’ attempt to use Gen. Alpha brainrot slang on rebranded campaign
By Ryan King
Feb. 5, 2026
WASHINGTON — Conservative netizens pilloried former Vice President Kamala Harris‘ attempt to rizz it up with America’s youths by deploying Gen. Alpha lingo on her rebranded campaign account.
Harris dusted off her “KamalaHQ” account on X and rebranded it as “headquarters_67” in using the Gen. Alpha brainrot slang “67” that kids sometimes facetiously used when asked a question they’re too lazy to answer properly.
But the nonsensical lingo may have already run out of style, right-leaning millennial netizens told Harris, citing their Gen. Alpha children.
“My children have informed me that ’67’ is already old, tired, and cringe, so once again, Kamala is coming up short,” the Manhattan Institute’s Chris Rufo chided in response to Harris’ rebrand.

“CNN called Kamala’s new handle for her headquarters account was ‘cringe,” user Sara Rose mused.
“The look you get when your ready to get out there and waste another Billion,” user Sack Head Shaun snipped.
“Millennial vibes from this, i fear,” reporter Robert Schmad swiped.

That whole article is fricking cringe. Adults asking children if something is cool? Who gaf.

Imagine being an adult who drove to a polling place, got out of their vehicle, & waited in line to press a voting lever FOR Kamala Harris & Tim Waltz. It just boggles my mind.

There was some viral video of an influencer or maybe athlete who is 6 foot 7 inches tall. In one of his reels, there was a blooper or something and he says 6-7. Kids went bonkers saying 6-7, often totally out of context. Very annoying, but normal kid stuff.
I teach catechism to a group of teenagers once a week who keep me in the know. My own kids (elementary school aged) also said 6-7 but had no idea of its origin.
I learned about 6-7 in the fall. It is now cringe and outdated. I will keep you abreast of the replacement trend when I find out what it is.

Please do. I know I speak for everyone when I say that this would be an invaluable service.
Meanwhile...this thread is trash. I want my 5 min, that it took to read the OP. I had no idea what "67" meant and now that I do, thanks to you, I realize the entire waste of time it was. My only recourse is to type enough dribble in hopes that the OP wastes as much of his/her time as I did on his/her post.
Too bad...that is all the time I feel like wasting.

I understand the gravity of my role here. Being the cultural liaison to a message board full of people who still say "PowerPoint presentation" instead of "slide deck" is not a responsibility I take lightly.

quote:Six-seven is a popular kid's nonsensical meme translating as something akin to "blah-blah-blah" or "who cares." In elementary classrooms it's sometimes a dismissal similar to the use of "Ok Boomer" here. It stems, at least in part, from this video:
I don't know what any of this means.

After the teenagers in my class told me what 6-7 meant, one of them asked me about the quantity of something. I can't remember the exact question, but I answered "6? 7?" and then I was like "oooh, 6-7" and one of the girls said, "you're not like a regular millennial. You're actually funny."
I'm not like a regular millennial. I'm a cool millennial.
