Democrats insist they now want body cams restricted.
Stated reason: they think body cams will be used to spy on insurgents.

Everyone needs to watch "Crime in Progress", a new show on A&E. Every episode is shot with bodycams. Thank GOD our LEO's have bodycams. And, it reinforces to me, that cops are grossly underpaid for what they do.

Body cams were the worst thing for the ghetto and woke movements. Their bullshite had always been about how cops are racist and how black people are victims of police brutality.
Body cams have shown a different story. Watch any of the cop cam channels on YouTube. The vast majority of cop/black person interactions...involve the black suspect being the most vile human imaginable...and then screaming racism when police don't kiss their arse. Most of them lie about being attacked and then threaten to sue. If not for body cams, I'd hate to imagine how many judges and Democrat officials would've just automatically sided with the black criminals and condemned the cops.
Surprising that Democrats haven't tried to severely restrict or do away with body camd way before now.

I called this years ago when the body cam stuff started and it was the right/back the blue types melting about them. They did more to protect LEO than hurt LEO.
