Western Civilization comes to mind. The Renaissance. The Reformation. The Age of Enlightenment. All part of the cultural heritage of Whiteness.

I actually don't disagree with her here. Most white people refer to their ancestral cultures, e.g. my family came here through Novia Scotia and helped established the Cajun communities of South Louisiana. I'm proud of that. I also have German as well. What am I misunderstanding here? She's just taken "white" and differentiated it into what we already do.

I get that part of it, but she didn't speak about that. I do know black people that do the same thing, if they can actually trace their ancestry back enough. But like I said, we already do what she's saying, and are proud of it.

And that's fine, but her suggesting whiteness isn't a culture without addressing blackness is political pandering. Everyone should be able to feel pride about their ancestry.
