"all you can eat" applies to the person, not the table.
trying to feed a village on two $15.99 tickets isn't a "life hack"; it's just theft with extra steps. ????????
this is low-trust behavior 101: treating a social contract like a glitch in a video game that needs to be exploited until it crashes.
restaurants will stop offering these deals, and everyone will wonder why. tragedy of the commons, applebee's edition.

If she really believed that they could share plates, then why did two of them get the special? Shouldn't one order have sufficed?

i feel like a manager in these situations need to immediately step in, be the one to communicate upon the sharing of food that all members will need to be charged if any additional food is then ordered.

It seems like the amount of righteous indignation these people can display in these situations in directly proportional to the amount of ignorance they possess.

Like driving. If we don't all collectively agree to abide by the driving rules, no one can drive anywhere.
Apparently, it's not simple enough.

No, we need more bail reform and left leaning judges so we can all live behind gates and have 12 cameras around our property

There isn't a salary high enough to get me to deal with the general public all day.
