This was most likely the plan and not coincidental

Remember… Trump is always 3 steps ahead of the globalists.

He has played this perfectly.

You’re a binary thinker.

I thought Venezuelan oil was “dirty” and needs to be heavily refined for our daily purposes??

I realize it’s not a simple matter

But history is littered with events that aren’t simple but the victors get to simplify it in the history books

We don’t really import a lot from Iran though?

Is this meaning now Venezuela can be a source for the world and we would profit off of such?

Don’t believe we get any from Iran, it’ll affect China though

For our purposes it’ll impact the flow of oil from other Middle East countries that we do buy

No, we'd like to think this was thought out in some strategic sense but chances are it wasn't. Venezuela could not produce anywhere near what the Persian Gulf could at an affordable price to make it attractive as a replacement or swing producer

Correct, but as I said in another thread, Venezuela and Iran contribute 20% of China's annual oil imports, and on contracts that are highly beneficial to the CCP.

How can Iran close the straight? We have Naval assets on either side of it.

I know at one time Iran had a Silkworm missile battery there but we have either taken it out or will soon.

This is a stupid take. There will be no appreciable uptake in Venezuela oil in time to help with the brief supply disturbance that will come from Trump’s action in Iran. It will take years to greatly increase Venezuelan oil.
