LINK Knows what he wants to do with hitters. Not talking about it.
Kiki: Are they pressing or need a kick in the butt? Could be both. I respect yall and your job. Not talking about it. Need to watch the game.
He isn’t happy to say the least.

Koki asked nearly every single question. He’s a dick.

I am ready for Koki to find another job.
Posted on 3/1/26 at 5:43 pm to ell_13
It sucks because Koki is more involved and more thorough than past beat writers, but he asks dumbass questions

I find that Jay doesn’t like him either. He always has a look on face when Koki asks questions. It’s kind of funny.

It’s a free country. Tell the other Bozos to speak up…

They never got a chance. He interrupts Jay for his next question.

Yeah it’s a double-edged sword.
Leah Vann never wanted to be in BR, she was more concerned with going to bars and tricking drunk guys into coming home with her.
Luke Johnson didn’t do shite.
Koki actually works but he’s annoying as shite

I remember Tre Morgan was mysteriously held out the lineup one night, and she was combative with fans on twitter when she was asked why he wasn’t playing

We have fallen a LONG way since Dan Hardesty, Bud Montet and Dave Moorman.

100% not true lol

Lester is right. Jay respects the hustle and appreciates the coverage. Local media focus on college baseball like this is extremely rare across the country.

Jay is so awesome. It’s rare that you have a coach that is so dedicated to winning but also isn’t a dick. How could anyone not want to play for him? He’s always respectful towards his players, he’s respectful to the media, and is complimentary of other programs. Class act.

Luke definitely did shite, but he always wanted to be a columnist instead of a beat reporter and he treated the LSU beat like that. So he wasn't really reporting much nuts and bolts news and was instead writing whimsical stories about the players.
To his credit, he parlayed that into a columnist job, so power to him.

He was great at the games, great with twitter, and embraced direct contact with fans. And it helped that he knew baseball and wrote stories as if his audience knew it, too. Chandler, Delly, Wilson, and Leah were half of what he was. Delly was the one who wrote the puff pieces. And he was still learning the game. Chandler was an a-hole and acted like the gig was way beneath him. Wilson forgot to show up most the time. And Leah was looking for attention (from literally anyone) more than trying to report on a sport.

It’s definitely a study in contrasts, when you compare him to the (previous) football coach.
