I mean it's not going to impact anything. I think it's better to get them exposed to what the post season can bring and go 11-2 in the first 3 weeks as opposed to going 11-0 and not experiencing light rest until June.

These losses objectively don't matter come seeding time. It's not football or basketball.

he does this every year and most year out pitching looks pressed and we freak out and then when we need a normal amount of pitchers we look ok again

I think 1/2 the posters on this board don’t follow the team until May. Yes, we see this every single year, some panic, others just shrug and go to the next game.

I like all the games crammed together like this early in the year. Don’t always like what I see, but enjoy the team peaking when it really matters in May and June.

It is if you care about winning early March games

It is not if you care about out winning early June games

Remember we might have to play 5 games in 4 days in June.
