I wouldn't call that soul necessarily and that was 2003. This one is more soul and came out in 2013 (also check out his Black Sabbath Changes cover):

I agree that it has some Hip-hop elements, but to me, I think it leans more towards funk/soul.
I think it has some decent lyrics, nothing really vulgar at all. Great fun groove.
I always liked the song, back when it was on the radio.
I hadn't thought about the song in years, but Tuesday night, I went by a friends house and they had youtube on the TV, and this came on:


They didn't even realize that it was a cover, and said they had never heard the original.
