This is why I’m not surprised at how they’ve reacted with the Iran situation. They are our historical allies. However when you consider how they’ve treated their citizens with protecting Muslim rape gangs and arresting people who dare to offer their opinions on social media, you can’t come to any other conclusion other than their interests and agenda are no longer in line with ours. It would be best to separate ourselves from them.

Why in the world would we go to war with them just to rid them of a problem they got into intentionally?

The "already left" discussion has been going on for at least four decades.
Years ago, I had a lot of British friends in my particular field of geology.
At international meetings, booze flowed freely. I remember a rather heated argument between Brits who were working in the US and Canada and those who were still in the UK.
The argument was unresolved.
I also remember a number of years being asked in individually by some in the UK what sort of interviews they might expect when trying to be hired in the US? Some succeeded and are still here.

You can say “F Britain”, we don’t need them, etc if you want, but I for one can’t believe that a land and civilization of peace and plenty built over thousands of years is just being given away like this.
