Will the October 401-K statements influence voters.

Maybe they will not blame Trump and the republicans.

October volatility is legendary, and we're not just talking about the crash in 2008," Silverblatt told CNBC. "October is a much more volatile month than any of the others as far as quick declines go."

I wonder why the month before midterm elections are historically volatile. Hmmmm.

IBstupid, why do you think this might be?

There's usually at least 2-3 corrections per year. It's normal. Meanwhile, most indexes are still way up since GEOTUS took the oath of office.

Maybe if they don't understand how the fed influences the market by steadily increasing interest rates.

I look at my 401K balance when Trump took office compared to today and I am not tired of winning.

And? You think 1 month out of 24 months of the Trump administration accurately depicts Trump affect on our economy?

current maket "value" should not impact you unless you are in your late 50s or in retirement.

i look at it as being able to buy more shares with my 401k dollars

but that his not how the less intelligent see it, so who knows.

October is a brutal month.

Why did this happen right before the mid term?? Earnings season and company report after report talked about slowing earnings growth with many pointing to higher cost due to tariffs and inflation.
