I hoped trump would light that fire under “republicans” asses to do something. But every day, my faith is dwindling. I’m almost 40 and don’t think we’ll see immigration reform anytime soon.

Congress is content on what’s happening at the border.

When do we pick up our pitch forks and march on Congress?

Republicans are, by and large, crap on a cracker. That being said, how would they get meaningful immigration reform passed as long as Crazy Nancy and the Democrats control the House?

I mean, even lyin' Paul Ryan stabbed Trump in the back regarding funding for the wall. The Democrats are going to oppose anything Trump wants to do regarding immigration reform, border security, etc.

Yeah baw, you might as well just get it over with and move to Moscow. Vladdy knows how to secure a border, the KGB being the folks who brought you the Iron Curtain.

Yes I believe they will enact immigration laws in my lifetime. And I'm 41 FWIW.

But I don't have faith that the laws will be favorable for a sustainable government model. I believe the progs will win and get their open borders, and that will be the catalyst for a full-on collapse of our great country.

Sicks because I love America. But we have become a mostly secular nation and the majority of our populous allows themselves to let the dim/prog/socialist/communist/MSM complex to guilt them into bending the knee once- which only leads to more bending the knee.

Babylon fell. Rome fell. The USA will fall as well, as long as we keep bowing to progressive filth and rebuking all that is Holy.

Just my .02.

Will never happen. America will be a third world shithole like El Salvador in 50 years. Thankfully I will be dead when it happens.

A country is only as good as the people living in it. The founders knew this and said as much. Our constitution was made for civilized people of some moral character. When you let in anyone from anywhere, you will see the country collapse fast.

But, hey, that's for Gen Z to solve I guess. Good luck with it, kiddos. You'll need it.

No. Trump and the gop know illegal immigrants lead to bigger buisiness profits.

Its just a question of why people think they would want to stop it?

No. Because Republican donors need cheap labor and Democrats need votes.

No.

And I say that because IMHO the USA has reached the Final Phase of its existence, in which it gradually becomes less and less of a functioning nation-state.

This phase will take IMHO from 100 to 200 years to culminate.

No, we are being sold a bill of goods by those voted into office. Obama’s plan to transform America is gathering momentum akin to a runaway train, with open borders openly ballyhooed.

It is an unsustainable program that will collapse under the inability to finance itself. Go to the website of the Center for Immigration Studies and you will be aghast to see how much we taxpayers are subsidizing these voluntary organizations to resettle migrants who have more access to benefits than citizens.
William Buckley wrote that the seeds of the destruction of western civilization would occur from within.
Sadly, this is proving correct.

The question boils down to wether we believe in nations. With a population over 300 million citizens is it logical that a shade over 500 members of the House and Senate presume to have the audacity to govern in the best interests of its people? They have become a house divided, blatantly serving the interests of the corporate elites, fueled by their own desire to climb to power.

No. Democrats had a super majority and did nothing with immigration. They want it as an issue for elections.

They could have had amnesty for a huge chunk of illegals but they didn't want Trump to have a win so they pulled the deal. They want an issue forever.

They've gone insane and want open borders with free stuff for everyone. Republicans will never side with that and democrats have gone off the deep end and will never side with any tighter border / restrictions.

And here is the core of MAGA that neither GOPe nor the DNC/MSM Political Complex understand.

Not with the projected demographic shifts in this country. We have a pension crisis and a lack of replacement labor. They need the tax dollars too much to not give all illegals citizenship. It's going to be a sad day when we give in over politics.

That isn't why. It is because currently half of the republicans are actually dims that ran as republicans or are being blackmailed. Judge Roberts is a prime example of being blackmailed. He is afraid of losing his adopted kids.

It will take a miracle to save this country. Hopefully I am correct and Trump IS that miracle sent by God.

No , they won't.

Paul Ryan fricked Trump over , and it will never happen with Nancy in charge.

But Trump has more power than he thinks , hopefully he gets re-elected. Then he can veto spending bills that don't have something in there to address the situation.

He can threaten Republicans about overriding his veto by saying he will go to their states, and destroy them assuring they don't get re-elected.
