What size league? they're both rosterable, especially in a standard league

Think Henderson will still get the bulk of the work in LA and ROJO will still get the bulk of the work in Tampa

Is Rojo your only good drop candidate?

I feel like Sony will end up getting early down work. If they were happy with Henderson then why make the trade. I think Henderson will still have a roll in the pass game.

I think rojo and Fournette will be a 50/50 split

I'll exit on my Michel takes, but yes, league winner.

I'm sure I'll regret saying this in late Dec/early Jan, but I'm on record here. Pump the brakes. NE thought he was expendable with Harris/Stevenson and got some draft capital while Rams are looking for depth.

Didn't realize Michel averaged 5.7 ypc in the games he played last year, compared to Henderson's 4.5 ypc. He only played 6 games though to Henderson's 15.
Going back and look at the stats, yea you're right I can see them using Michel a good bit in both the running & passing game.

It's harder to put a bead on this one after last year.
If you get playoff Lenny, no doubt it's 50/50. Maybe more for Fournette.
Weeks 1-16 Rojo had almost 100 more rushing attempts and 600 more yards, Fournette was slightly better in the passing game.

In the playoffs though, Fournette almost matched his total yardage from weeks 1-16, averaging 16 carries per game, and was a completely different animal.
Depends how that carries over, if at all.

I've been reading some Patriots boards and they were saying that this is the healthiest Michel has felt in a while. His knees are working again. I only saw a little bit of Sony in their last preseason game but he looked quick. He's definitely worth a stash to wait and see. His best season was his rookie year where he finished with 931 yards on 209 attempts and only had 7 receptions that year. If he gets ~150 attempts w/ ~30 targets he'll be a HUGE addition to anyone's roster.

This trade leads me to believe his thumb is hurt worse than what has been made public. I would love to see McVay get the most out of Michel.

Have you seen Sony play before? I don’t think he’s gonna win many leagues

Granted he’s looked much improved this offseason, but I still doubt he’s going to turn into a different player overnight behind a likely worse Oline

Darrel Henderson isn’t an every down running back. He is a complimentary back that can catch the ball and create explosive plays in space. He isn’t a between the tackles runner. Rams used him in that roll last year And he was mediocre. Sony Michel is a between the tackles no bs running back. When the Patriots fed him he did well and can grind out yardage. Michel and Henderson compliment each other well. I would expect Michel to be the back to own bc with the Rams defense they should play with the lead quite a bit

Ronald Jones is rosterable in most leagues, but if he’s your worst player, I’m taking Sony over him.

Both are timeshare backs in good offenses, but Sony has a path to passing game work/3rd downs. No shot Jones gets that with Gio and Leonard around.

I don’t believe. Sony isn’t a very good receiver and has been known for drops. Henderson will likely retain that role and is pretty good receiver

Sony is an average receiver, but has a reputation as a good pass protector.

Retain what role? Henderson has played 38 3rd down snaps in his career. That’s 8.9% of his total snaps. Sony is at 8.1%, and that’s while sharing the running back room with James White, who is awesome in his 3rd down role. (All stats via Dave Richard on Twitter)

Even if Sony has a 25% chance of seeing somewhat consistent 3rd down work, what do you give RoJo? He probably needs TWO injuries to make that happen, and even then, he has clearly been identified by his coaching staff/QB as someone who cannot be trusted on 3rd down…they’d probably sign someone off the street to take over those duties.

Based on what exactly? He’s caught a total of 25 passes in his 3 year career and has never looked comfortable as a pass catching back in the pros.
