Idiots always parrot to avoid the NE backfield when it’s been very fruitful for fantasy purposes over the last few years. The injury to Michel has made his ADP much more palpable .
I’m of the belief kerryon emerges in Det, but’s it’s adnittedly a risky position.
Indy looks like a full blown mess for sure.

I'm not entirely sure Hunt won't have at least a partial timeshare this year. Throughout his history Andy has liked to share some carries.

If you can accurately predict the NE Rb situation for more than flex value I’d be impressed
Posted on 8/22/18 at 7:38 pm to Upperdecker
Dion Lewis last year and Blount in 2016 were way better than flex value for the season. New England had 3 guys last year who were flex level or better for stretches- Gilly, Dion, Burkhead

It really hasn’t been that hard to figure out. You’d get some stinkers in there, but the guy who inherited that passing down role was typically pretty consistent...Lewis when healthy, James White had a solid run in between Lewis seasons. It really isn’t the mind frick it’s made out to be

I thought Tampa Bay said they were actually gonna start Peyton Barber as RB Week 1? Now Ronald Jones is the starter? Did they change their minds or did I just go crazy there?
Today on NFL Fantasy Live, Fabiano not only said that Barber is the starter, but that Koetter said that he could be a 3 down back.

Blount 2016 was a fluke. Belichick doesn’t want to use 1 back like that

No comment on the three backs that were useful at times last year in the backfield? Even in 2016 when they “used one back”, James White was RB33, which is a borderline flex.
Blount was RB29 in 12 games in 2015, which means he was likely an RB2 in fantasy points per game.
Now people are starting to catch onto the fact that Pats RBs have value even in the committee, so these guys aren’t free anymore...but I think totally ignoring the backfield of a top 5 NFL offense because it isn’t perfectly laid out for us is probably a mistake.

We all understand there are points to be had. It’s not like the Patriots don’t run the ball. The issue is predicting who will be worth starting each week and who will be a dud. You can’t go back and look at how many people started the wrong back each week last season

Miller and Ingram respectively

I’m an entirely sure, mate. 325 touches last year, led league in rushing and numerous rushing efficiency stats. He’s a stud
And They cut charkandrick west today too

Something I noticed about Hunt in the preseason so far is that he's been in on all 3 downs and not coming off on 3rd downs like last year. They also seem to be targeting him in the passing game even more. Obviously, it's just preseason but that stood out to me.

Spencer aware hasn’t come back yet but I see him getting some 1st and 2nd down work when he does

sigh
Y’all realize hunt got 90% of the chiefs RB rush attempts at 272
Next closest guy was Charkandrick west with 18 attempts all year. 18!
Hunt had 18+ carries in eight games and 17 carries in two others

Oh ok...well hey if you see it that way, I’ll move him down my board

With WR like Mike Thomas, Evans, Keenan Allen, Green sitting there in the 2nd rd, you're telling me I can start off with an AB/Hopkins/Beckham/Julio and pair em with another WR like Thomas Evans Allen?
I went Hopkins/Beckham Jr. at 12 and 13. My RBs are, accordingly, thin. I have Alex Collins, Tevin Coleman, LeGaratte Blount, Carlos Hyde & Peyton Barber.
ETA: I've used this strategy in the past and it usually results in a good, but not quite good enough, roster. I didn't have much of a choice this year as 10 of the first 11 picks were running backs and I wasn't taking Mixon/Freeman/Cook over Beckham Jr. with the 13th pick.

I doubt Hunt gets 90% this year. Probably 75%. Ware is far better than West

Not disagreeing that Hunt will have a good year. But I think Ware sees some PT
