NOLA is a great city and I love it. We have our problems, no doubt and it’s extremely frustrating to residents because we know how enjoyable this place can be.
Glad you enjoyed it

I've traveled plenty. If you enjoy food, drink, and character it's really hard to beat New Orleans (especially Uptown).
What's your favorite city?

i've visited nearly all the major US cities, los angeles is the only one i've not been to off the top of my head. i would have to agree with epic cajun, new orleans is my favorite
we did notice that the COVID thing is starting to suck the joy out of everyday life there, hopefully this ends sooner than later. NOLA walks a fine line between worth it/not worth it as far as the difficulty of living there goes, and right now the balance is starting to tip the wrong way

And you weren't killed, molested, murdered, robbed and/or criminalized in any way.

That would be Opelousas. Hammond isn’t even in the top 10.

One of my wife and I favorite spots. Glad you enjoyed! What kind of Vin did you get?

A cotes de Provence rose, it was excellent
crepe nanou is a treasure...we had a st James fromage plate, mussels, salade tropicale, French onion soup and of course crepe nanou for dessert
