Had a pitcher of Negro Modelo Saturday, served with frosty mugs and lime slices, on the patio at Bossier's El Patio. The weather was perfect, and so was the beer, especially for just $10.50. That was the domestic price, but a solid bargain even if they had charged us the $12 listed for pitchers of imports.

it’s funny this thread popped up again, we were at a music festival in Ventura all weekend and they served a really good Mexican beer I’d never heard of...estrella jalisco. Light and flavorful and my new favorite

I had a waitress friend who once told me that when the kitchen and wait staff went out to a bar after work, all the American guys were drinking Corona with lime and all the Mexican guys were drinking Budweiser.
