Really sucks because I could eat a burrito every day. Also, maybe it’s just me but I order the same thing almost time and they ring it up differently almost every visit. And I agree about the cleanliness. At least scoop the shite off the counter

And I don’t know if y’all remember, but there was a period of at least a year when they didn’t even have corn. That’s hilarious

Qdoba is the best version of that style restaurant currently to me. Everything seems fresh and they don’t charge you extra for items like guacamole.

Their tortillas are gummy. You can slap them and it makes the same sound as slapping someone’s skin.

I couldn't believe how big it was (TWSS) and I ate on that thing for probably 3 meals.

I used to know a guy (he moved out west) that could eat one of those illegal burritos with no problem in one sitting. Wasn’t fat either, but he was like 6’10”.

Prices have gone through the roof. Used to go all the time. Small side of queso and small bag of chips $6+. Last time I went my order alone was going to be $19.

Shame because it was always good.

They’ve expanded too much.

Chipotle is ran so much better. Yea, the don’t have jalapeños, so what.

The Magazine St Izzos by my house is just plain nasty. They have updated that Building since they moved in

Moe's by us (FL) is awesome. The first time I walked in to a Moe's was when I was at LSU (2000 and something, living at, wait for it..El Cid) and when they yelled out "Welcome to Moe's!" I walked right back out the door. I have gotten used to it and their bowls are awesome. We used to eat at Izzo's on Bluebonnet all of the time, when I lived in BR, and loved it. It's a shame to hear that it has declined so much (like the rest of the city).

We went this weekend because we were starving and didn’t want fast food or pizza. I wasn’t looking forward to a burrito with a half scoop of meat but the girl working was not playing around. I got a good scoop and a half of ground meat, the same for my husband with his chicken. That burrito was packed. We each ate half and had the other half the next day. I know that isn’t the usual experience but I may go back again just to see if this location keeps it up.

I will admit that when we got up to order the counter was absolutely disgusting. Stuff was everywhere. But as we were telling them what we want the manager called someone over and it was cleaned up right away. They just need to train them to stay on top of it instead of waiting to be told.

Also, this was the Bluebonnet location near Burbank. I see lots of bad things about the Bluebonnet location but there is another on Bluebonnet closer to Jefferson. Not sure which one most are referring to.

The one on bluebonnet near burbank is shitty. They don't know how to wrap the burrito anymore. Half the time they put entirely too many ingredients (excluding proteins) and they can't roll it. Then, when they do roll it, it breaks up. Had a guy one time, tried to roll the burrito. The burrito broke, so he just slapped another tortilla over it and rolled it.

The place is just sloppy.

I could see that being a problem. Ours were so packed that they could barely roll them but since it was a ton of meat I wasn’t going to complain.

Wife and I went to Izzos on Sunday. The freak making our food was a miserable person. I will not go back.

Went to the one in Covington on hwy 21 a few weeks back and all of the food/fixings seemed like a day or two old leftovers. Nothing was fresh. I probably won’t be going back and I love Izzos.

I frequent a couple different locations regularly, at least once every two weeks. I’ve seen no decline. I haven’t had any issues. Still a great place.

I cannot even eat izzo's steak anymore, too many times I've gotten it and it was over cooked and the nastiest and toughest piece of meat with fat that I'd have to spit out. And I was always a steak over chicken guy, but alas not anymore
