I was drinking them last week on a business trip. We would usually meet in the bar around 6 and have 3-4 then eat dinner. It was a nice surprise as this hotel was middle of nowhere, lucky they had decent beers and sandwiches.

Modelo and Pacifico are my favorite.

Tecate is good too.

Sol is underrated but difficult to find.

It isn't on the shelves here, but next time you are in Gulf Shores or anywhere in AL, try Good People's mexican lager called Muchacho. It is very good.

I live in Birmingham and grab these all the time. Great beer and good people makes a great pale ale too

Most of the intown Pigs (read: fancier Piggly Wiggly) should have it, but you really need to stop by Hop City at 2924 3rd Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35233 and fill up on all sorts of tasty beverages.

Mexican brewers mostly learned the craft from Germans and there’s a certain purity in the recipes that they stick to.

Bohemia strikes a great balance and my favorite.

I can crush this beer.

I was typically always a Modelo guy but this year I was reaching for Tecate instead

Victoria is the GOAT. All of the Mexican restaurants carry it.

Gnarly's is great. I wish it was more available

Seventh Tap in Shreveport makes Don Pablo in 16oz cans. You can get these in Tiger Stadium as well.

Rally Cap has Golden Sombrero. It's very crisp and crushable. A+

Bayou Teche Cinco de Bayou is also very good.

Seems like every local brewery we have puts out at least one of them. Some already have a lime added and some don't.

I'm a fan of Bohemia and Victoria as far as ones from actual Mexico.

I’ve tried a whole bunch since I started this thread and I’m pretty sure I agree. I’ve not tasted anything yet that I like better than Victoria

after many months of research and gallons of Vienna style lagers, a clear favorite emerges

vienna lager from devils backbone brewery. It’s everything I want in a beer, at a great price. Available all over Virginia where I’ve spent a good deal of time lately, on tap and in bottles and cans. Huge fan of this one.

quick research reveals its now an InBev product but the quality is there, and that honestly probably helps with distribution. We plan on visiting the brewery in Charlottesville on the way back home and I’m planning to bring several cases with us
