You bought the fancy shite and then complain about it. Are you retarded?

Stop being a slob. Natural peanut butter is delicious and once you've eaten it long enough, Jiff tastes like shite

As a peanut butter lover who buys 99.9% organic natural PB…

I strongly disagree

Stuff is delicious

Pro tip with the natural pb....when you buy a new jar, store it upside down in your pantry. When you open it the oil will be at the bottom and you can mix it up a little easier

Some organic fancy shite. Anyways there’s about a 1/2” of oil at the top but apparently you’re supposed to “mix it in”

Just turn the jar upside down for a couple minutes and enjoy a healthy snack.

Damn how did we get here as a society.

I agree it's a pain in the arse to mix the oil back into the natural peanut butter in a new jar but found that it's actually easier and less messy to use a fork than a spoon or knife. Took me a few too many jars to figure that out after much annoyance like what you ranted about. My duh... Anyway, then keep it in the fridge and it doesn't separate again.

I buy the Kroger Natural Peanut butter for $2.19 a jar and it has nothing but peanuts and salt, no additives. Even cheaper than the regular unhealthy shite has been lately.

With Jiff you are eating soybean oil, canola oil, corn syrup, palm oil, diglycerides, etc.

It’s processed garbage that isn’t good for you. Organic peanut butter is just crushed peanuts. And the oil naturally separates from shelf life. That was the only real peanut butter that existed before they came out with the fake processed shite.

Right, this board is retarded. "I want my JIF that ain't got none of that fancy organic shite in it!" You mean you like your peanut butter with palm oil and syrups because your big fat sausage fingers can't stir the jar gently to mix in the natural oil

Are you really too lazy and helpless to stir a jar with a knife for a few minutes for something exponentially healthier?

I can’t speak for that fellow but I am.

I’m a big fan of a quick pb and j sandwich….

Trader Joe’s is my go-to for peanut butter. Their peanut butter contains one ingredient-dry roasted peanuts. Nothing else. It has that peanut in the shell taste; not the taste of crap brands like Skippy and Jiff.

I just cubed a Costco tenderloin for beef stew.

There is no way you did this. Even if you can't read good (sic), you must have learned some where, some time, some way that stew meat is different and sometimes better for purpose than the very expensive cuts.

Was this a cooking troll?

Was coming to ask the same question. Tenderloin is a ridiculous cut to use in beef stew.

Spinoff question- what peanut butter is best? Or does even matter and long as there’s not extra mixing required?

So I grab a knife and start churning it up. Oil splashed everywhere. It never mixes, it’s just a big oily mess. And I got peanut butter all over the place

This sounds like the opening scene in one of those “As Seen on TV” product commercials.

“You’ve tried stirring it. You’ve tried shaking it. …” Crazy looking person with a peanut butter mess and disheveled hair looks at camera in frustration.

I make and sell almond butters. I sell peanut butters too just don’t have any at the moment.

I have dark chocolate almond, cinnamon honey almond and regular almond. They are great.

But I also make naked almond which is lightly salted roasted almonds with just an extremely small amount of sunflower lecithin which is a non gmo plant based emulsifier. It’s used to keep natural oils blended.

Which means my almond and peanut butters do not have a pool of oil.

I think we discussed them in the sourdough thread.

Why by processed slop with added sugars when you can buy authentic peanut butter with just salt added?
